HOPE: something to live by everyday

HOPE: The definition of hope from an English dictionary, is a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

But know that HOPE, is more than that! It's a place where we head for every single day of our lives. We might not know where it might take us to, we might not know what challenges it might throw into our face on our way, not knowing who or what we will meet on our way, but it is hope itself that drives our heart towards it. It is a horizon that we head for everyday, pushing ourselves out of our warm, comfortable beds on a bitter cold winter morning, marching out with a smile on our face, leaving nothing behind us but fear, anger and sadness.

I've mentioned once or twice on this blog that I have a good news that I won't share until it's close to date. so... here it is

it's a students' exchange program funded and organised by the US embassy in collaboration with the MOE.

my life had been super hectic for the past month, but it was great fun, and opportunity. It was overall a great adventure. I met new people. I experience and learn new thing, it was fantastic :)

so that's the first good news

well... I'm going off.... so this means... MORE PICTURES!! :D *claps excitedly*

anyway, these are the 5 awesome (including me) student Bruneian delegates that I'm going to spend time with :) 

We also have two awesome-tastic chaperons :) 

so we're gonna be an awesome family!

can't wait to share all the exciting adventures with you guys, soon.

A Photo A Day: Unity

Grasses, Dandelions, nature!

Went to the post office with mom earlier today.... so... I walked through this path and found myself, literally, in paradise. hahaha

And so... my venture begins! bumped into various wildflowers, grasses, dandelions and some pretty insects :D

So, we had a barbecue earlier today. I took the opportunity to capture some fire. :)

HIATUS :(

hey guys, I'll be on a short hiatus for a while as I have exams coming up. I'd probably come around to upload some pictures soon but for the mean time, I am on a short hiatus. I'll be back, just don't know when. and I have an exciting news to share, but I'll share closer to date. till then, see you on the next posts ;)

Ozone Run (16/9/2012)

So, earlier today, I joined the Ozone Run in conjunction of the world's Ozone day. I joined it with a friend. It was a funny yet awkward experience, I swear. haha. Anyway, we arrived there as early as 5.15. yes, we are 15 minutes too early. Then, the warm ups begin at around 6 and we were released off the starting line at 6.35. For me this time the run is somewhat super slow and painful, I didn't even break my last record :( I blame this on my stamina which is decreasing thanks to lack of exercise. As you all know, the sport that I am really in to and really good at(well, for me) is badminton. I had a wrist injury so I stopped playing for a month in Ramadhan and went for a medical check up which put me on another 4 weeks badminton ban. So, stamina is bad -_______- While on badminton hiatus, I didn't manage to continue build up my stamina. boohoo! And oh, I also blame it on the stuffy weather.

Back to my story. Let the pictures tell it :P
