PTET first sportsday event 7/7/2012

hey guys, as promise, I'll upload a post on the sports day. I left my camera for the day in my locker and I'm VERY lazy to go back and forth, and so... I went on without any camera until towards the end, Vivien lend me her camera (bless her) because she got tired. and I obviously had fun with it :P

First debate match in 2012

We had our first debate match this year yesterday! it was sorta exciting AND nerve wrecking, I've left english debate for more than a year and a half. that doesn't count the malay debate!! haha anyway, we lost a match yesterday morning... mainly I thought because I screwed up a little and lost my confidence at the reply speech.......... unfortunately! :/ and the afternoon match was cancelled due to a wee bit of mix up and postponed to next week. so, three more matches to go! :)

The Run, Pusat Ehsan Charity Event. -Where Every Steps Matter-

The title says it all, so me and my to colleague joined this event. all along the event there are many things happening, just like the HSBC WRC, I enjoyed it. it was awesome, all the way from the long wait during the start and the proud and awesome moment when I ran hand in hand with my bestfriend and hopped on the finish line altogether breaking both our personal records. After that, we went around town for a few strolls, went around the Yayasan, enjoyed the view of our one and only Venice of The East. It was awesome-tastic! ;) I'll put up some pictures I took, there's not many but there are some. hehe :)

A Photo A Day

hey guys, I've been busy lately. sorry for lack of updates, I promise I'll fit everything in by this weekend! I'll try... hehe. anyway, a photo a day. Went over to someone's engagement day today. and congratulations of course to the couple on the engagement. I did take a few pictures, and I think that this is the PERFECT shot. and I gotta admit, I thought that this is the most beautiful picture that I have ever taken. it boasts the very beautiful moment when the ring is slipped on to the lady's finger :)

Ya Rabb, kenapa mulutku tidak dapat berbicara?

Lalu terlihat di layar, aku sedang menatap wajah-wajah tampan teman chatting, teman facebook, dan semua teman lelakiku.

Malunya aku, Rabb…

“Aku dulu selalu mendengar kalimat mesra dari seorang lelaki yang haram bagiku!” Kali ini telingaku bicara.

Ya, semasa di dunia aku hanya sibuk bergayut dengan kekasihku. Dia memanggil aku ‘sayang’, aku pun sama…

Rabb… Kenapa semua aktiviti aku penuh maksiat?

Kenapa kegiatanku hanya berkapel?

Kenapa hari-hariku hanya disibukkan dengan nafsu syahwat semata?

Layar itu masih memancarkan  kegiatan harianku.

Yang paling sering muncul adalah wajah seorang lelaki, yang sampai sekarang belum pernah aku temui.

Walaupun sehingga ajalku menjemput,

Aku sedang bergayut telefon dengan dia dan bersayang-sayangan dengannya.

Lelaki itu..

wajahnya sungguh menarik hatiku.

Dialah salah satu teman facebook, laman itu yang paling terkenal dan rancak digunakan…

Komunikasi di facebook, berlanjutan ke sms, lalu telefon.

Sekadar mengingatkan untuk sarapan dan makan. Setelah itu, semakin intim hubungan kami.

Tengah malam selalu menjadi waktu paling menyenangkan bagi kami. “Sayang, aku mencintaimu…”

Ya Tuhan.. Sia-siakah hariku?

Tiap detik aku menghabiskan waktuku hanya untuk menghubungi dia.

Tiap minit aku hanya memikirkannya.

Bahkan pada waktu menghadapMU… aku tak mengalunkan ayat-ayatMU, apalah lagi qiamullail..

Rabbi… Malam itu dia menghubungiku. Malam kematianku.

Seperti biasa, dia menanyakan khabarku, bertanya tentang kuliahku, bertanya tentang keluargaku.

Dan hal yang selalu kami lakukan…

Dia memanggilku ‘sayang’ dan akupun demikian….

Aku sungguh menaruh hati padanya. Aku pun mencintai dia, seorang lelaki yang belum pernah aku temui.

Allah… Aku mengaku salah.

Aku berkapel dengannya, walaupun kami tak pernah bertemu.

Aku berzina! Lidahku berzina mengucap sayang padanya tanpa didasari ikatan pernikahan.

Telingaku berzina mendengarkan pujian sayang dan kalimat mesranya padaku. Mataku berzina melihat foto-fotonya. Hatiku berzina kerana selalu merindukannya.

Allah… Aku sudah menghadapMU, dalam su’ul khatimah.

Ku mohon, sedarkan lelaki itu Ya Allah.

Jangan biarkan dia mati dalam keadaan seperti itu. Sedarkan dia ya Rabb…

Facebook, semuanya bermula. Allah, aku berzina. Seberapapun kecil pun, aku sudah berzina.

Mataku, telingaku, lidahku, hatiku…..Menitis air mata ini. Andai aku dapat kembali ke dunia lagi….

Sesungguhnya apabila aku menasihati kamu, bukanlah bererti akulah yang terbaik dalam kalangan kamu, bukan juga yang paling soleh atau solehah dalam kalangan kamu, kerana aku juga pernah melampaui batas untuk diri sendiri. Seandainya seseorang itu hanya dapat menyampaikan dakwah apabila dia sempurna nescaya tidak ada pendakwah, maka akan sedikitlah orang yang memberi peringatan .

A Photo A Day

"It Rained!!" 

and yes, that's my lame title for the super awesome picture. ;) :P hahah jokes aside, I took this photo a few hours ago at my former school, Sekolah Menegah Sufri Bolkiah. it rained very heavily while I was there to collect certificates with some friends. it's been a long stretch of time since it last rained thanks to the dry season. now that it has finally rained, I am more than relieved. :) and apparently, this picture seemed to be my one and only successful attempt(so far) to capture raindrops. haha, FINALLY!! :)

and since I missed out a few days for this segment as well, I'll post up a few more bonuses ;)

I'm not entirely sure what flower this is, I at first thought that it was of a watermelon blooming. but then it's not, silly me! My mom said it's a sunflower-ish kinda flower. so... I call this one "The Lie". one thing is because I mistook the flower, another because I used this flower to trick my friend because we were still preparing her gift. so I had to be quick and smart! xD but yeah, me and my weird thing naming habits, just humour me :p what I like the most about this picture it's it's perfect close up and blurred background, it's perfect to my eyes! :)

next two pictures will be from my last geography field work.

This picture is of a sorta(I've seen bigger, so I can't say VERY can I?) huge ant crawling on a leaf. not sure you can see it or not but it's the black spot with legs (you don't say Amal?). it's amazing. this picture is amazing as well, I didn't even use the close up mode for it but it came out perfectly enough for me. and thus my picture naming habit comes in, I named this picture "The Hidden". weird eh?

This one's a leaf on the river. I particular love this because of the sun light reflecting the clear surface of the small river. it was amazing. and the state that the leaf is in, awesome! and guys, for the first time, I can't name the picture! haha it's perhaps a good thing though, I won't have to come up with weird names anymore :P haha really, I hated that picture naming habits. although I kinda find it hilarious. haha what the flip am I talking about?! XD

anyway, as a gentle reminder, pictures on "A Photo A Day" section are mainly taken by me. unless it is taken by someone else, I WON'T forget to credit them. so... if ever I see the pictures on here being reposted, I won't be exactly happy if it wasn't with my permission. and in case you were asking why I get all worked up on this, there has already been one incident where my superifically awesometastic picture was taken away, reposted and claimed as theirs. I can't even claim it back. it's no fair really, I made the effort but then.... you get the flow. (sigh)
