all in all, we had a blast :) its a good way to leave highschool to know that we left tonnes of marks in school. I'm not sure if i'm ready to leave for college yet. but life moves on, all that shimmers is sure to fade away, but the beauty is forever etched in our minds. I love you SMSB ♥

Why do I love you Boyce Avenue and Westlife? its every little thing you do ♥

"Never underestimate a girl's love for her favorite band. Never think even for a minute, that she won't defend them to her death. Because it's not just the music thet makes that band her favorite. It's the guys, the gals. It's the fans. People whom she has interacted with thanks to the band. That band might have saved her life, or just made her smile everyday. That band has never broke her heart and has yet to leave her. No wonder she finds such joy in her music." ~Alex Gaskarth

Another Journey Through BOYCE ♥

So today, I repeat, TODAY is 6th November 2011. I'll scan through the Boyce diary for you. First in line is Boyce Avenue's original song, "Dare To Believe" will debut on youtube TODAY. if you haven't already listen to the song, you may check it out below :

okay, enough hype. I'm literally shrieking in excitement right now. I can't be there, in Belfast, unfortunately :( I can't watch live either, so I'll have to catch the rerun this weekend. #examfever

So guys, BOYCE AVENUE is a band that started from nothing but a scratch. They first started with randomly having jam sessions in between the three brothers, then its gotten into a serious phase where each of them had quited their day jobs, and Alejandro being the youngest, flunked college. But it was all worthed when they have came this far in success. They started only on Myspace, youtube and all the social networks, without any radio airplay or tv exposure, they started to expand their fan base further and further. In 2010, they are signed to Universal Records(together with Taylor Swift, Colbie Callillat, Jack Johnson), but they still didn't get any exposure as promised by U.R and they decided to gain their independence this year, 2011. Even without any record label, their fanbase still expands steadily. and TODAY, they are invited to play at MTV's EMA which is going to be their BIGGEST gig yet with 15 000 fans attending. What made me even more proud is that their succes is based on all their hard work, determination, talent and their ability to always fulfil fans' needs. They won't be needing any record labels in the now dead music industry.

That's all I guess, and oh, UK fans, their show originally on the 6th at the Mandela hall is shifted to my birthday. now, gimme my plane ticket and my VIP pass :P haha kidding. so... ciao~ for now ;)

The Westlife News

its a bad news actually, a devastating news indeed.

click on the photo to enlarge.

Message to Westlife from me:

reality check, this is a heart breaker. YOU are the FIRST reason why I started dreaming and hoping the first place, everything in my life now, my hopes, my dreams, the way I think, the reason I wanted to study, my overseas friends.you may say that there are outside factors in my life that pushes me forward, true, but you had been the first to set me off.

and I recalled that in 2000, you came to my country for your first and last concert, but I was very young, as young as 5 years old and I already am a fan of yours. that one concert set me dreaming and hoping to see you guys one day, but its all over now, I can't do much but hope.

imagine 1998 up till now, 2011, I'm coming 16 this year, that's how long I've loved you and I still never get to see you, but its okay, I respect your decision and I know that this is what's good for you and I understand.

and also.... thank you for the amazing 14 years. you will forever and always have a special spot, here, in my heart ♥.

Introducing The Story Behind My Inspirations

as you all know, when it comes to my music taste, its all about Westlife. This year, I have found a new band that I love as dearly much as I loved Westlife. In this post, I'm going to talk about this "band", and in the next post, I'm going to reveal a Westlife news, so............... stay tuned!!

On the right side of my blog right under my profile, you can see "Story behind "Life Through A Window Crack"" as stated, the man that inspired me to blog again is Fabian Rafael Manzano. here in this post, I'm going to tell you about this band, how and why and when I found them and also the connection that Fabian has with them.

Ok, first thing's first. Towards the end of April this year, something happened, I'm not telling you what though. Anyway, on 10th June 2011, I started to randomly download songs, especially songs by the "band" since my friend once recommended them to me, I initially hate them for no reason (I know, weird). So I decided to you-tube them, on their YouTube page that day is their cover of Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough"(click on the song title to take a look).

Okay, i CAN'T handle this anymore, so lets cut off the suspense, k?

introducing to you, my BELOVED band, *drum rolls*

Boyce Avenue!!!

Do they sound or look familiar to you? okay, lets introduce their members.

the youngest bro, Alejandro Luis Manzano. (he's mine!! *bark bark* :P)

the 'middle' bro(haha), Fabian Rafael Manzano.

and lastly, the oldest bro, Daniel Enrique Manzano

eh wait, I forgot to tell you they're brothers. haha okay, Boyce Avenue is made up of three brothers. and oh, they're Puerto Rican, in other words Spanish-ish, so you pronounce their name in a Spanish slang, or else..... *crakcs knuckle* muahahahaha I'm just joking xD

that's my brief introduction on Boyce Avenue and this... is the full bio of Boyce Avenue by Boyce Avenue themselves. (source: www.facebook.com/BoyceAvenue)

Boyce Avenue, a Florida-based band popular for its strong acoustic roots and melodic rock sound, consists of the three brothers Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel Manzano. The brothers first came together as a band in 2004 when Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals), and their older brother Daniel (bass, percussion, vocals) reconnected after pursuing their respective educational goals. While music was always a part of their lives and ultimately their collective goal, pursuing a higher education was also important to the brothers. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Daniel moved back to Florida, to join his brothers Fabian and Alejandro, who were both attending classes at the University of Florida. It was there that the brothers continued to write music and to perform local shows, and took their most formative steps toward becoming a band.

In 2007, in an effort to share their music and ideas with the world, the band decided to start filming and posting videos on YouTube of their own songs and some of their favorite songs by other artists. Some of the first few videos they posted included acoustic versions of songs such as Justin Timberlake’s “LoveStoned”, Rihanna’s “Umbrella”, and Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida”, among many others. The videos resonated instantly with YouTube viewers. And to date, the band has over 300,000,000 views on YouTube and over 700,000 subscribers to their channel, making theirs one of the most frequented channels worldwide on YouTube.

Early on, the band wanted to set itself apart from other acts that had achieved success online by taking its music straight to the people, live. Believing firmly in the strength of their online fans, and in its music, the band booked a stand-alone show in New York City in January of 2009, for their first ever performance in the city. Surprising label and industry folks alike, the show - perceived by others as a gamble - was an enormous sellout and success. Since then, the band has been steadily touring the world over with similar results. In early 2009, the band performed for an estimated total of 25,000 fans over four headline shows in the Philippines. And on the heels of its whirlwind success in the Philippines, the band launched headline tours in the USA, Canada, and Europe. In response to the staunch support of its fans, this Summer/Fall of 2011 sees the band playing headline shows in Indonesia, Australia, USA, Canada, and Europe, and playing in iconic rooms thoughout the world, such as The Fillmore in San Francisco, Webster Hall in New York, The Riviera Theatre in Chicago, The Sound Academy in Toronto, Shepherd's Bush in London, The Olympia Theatre in Dublin, and Live Music Hall in Cologne.

During the band's early years, it assiduously recorded original music for it's full-length debut album, "All We Have Left," which will be re-released independently by the band this Fall, through its own label, 3 Peace Records. The lead out singles from the album include “Every Breath,” "On My Way," and "Broken Angel". The music video for "Every Breath," the first single off the abum was shot by acclaimed director Zach Merch (Blue October, Safetysuit) in Los Angeles, and was a collaborative effort that grew from a treatment written by the band. Because "All We Have Left" was entirely written, funded, and produced by the band, the band hopes it will serve as a strong statement to its supporters of who the band is at this point in their career, and who they want to be as artists and individuals.

Okay, now where was I earlier? oh, about first discovering them on YouTube. so their cover of "Just Can't Get Enough" caught my eyes, and so I started checking all their covers, one after another, their original songs, story behind original songs, and their vlogs. what basically attracted me to Boyce Avenue is their AWESOME talent and the way that they put all their feelings in on every song they do. I could spend forever on telling you how I fell in love, what ventures it brought me to and everything Boyce related, but then, you've gotta stay tuned! so... stay tuned, keep reading :)
